Paul Rodger of London's leading covers band, Creak, tells me the group have just secured a first Friday in the month residency at The Hart pub in Hammersmith/Chiswick (383 King Street, London, W6 9NJ) starting in March. The band also plan to invite one band, or two acoustic-type acts, to play between two Creak sets.
I'm so pleased for them, and, needless to say, I've already expressed my keenness to get Pocket Rocket between two thick slices of Creak. Bring it on!
