Introducing Slipstream
Slipstream perform the music of Ian Anderson and Jethro Tull. They were formed in 2010 by Keith Boswell (flute, harmonica and vocals), and are based in the North West of England.
Boswell has been involved in two previous Jethro Tull cover bands. With the first, Seismic Ring, he got to play to a sell-out crowd and to meet Ian Anderson himself at Tull Convention in 1996. This led to an invite to the Jethro Tull convention in Boston in 1997, where the band played two shows and had the pleasure of performing with their idols.
Keith has been a fan of Ian Anderson's music since 1968 and has been performing it ever since. His current tribute band, Slipstream, deliver a diverse Jethro Tull set, mixing classic songs with acoustic compositions by Ian Anderson. They are fast becoming the most popular Tull covers band gigging around the North West and beyond.
Slipstream is:
Keith - Flute, Harmonica & Vocals
Neil - Acoustic/electric guitar, mandolin
Dave - Electric/acoustic bass guitar
