Introducing London act Hats Off Gentlemen It's Adequate

A ROCK-TIL-YOU-DROP-WELCOME to London act, Hats Off Gentlemen It's Adequate. The core of the act is Malcolm Itsadequate (guitar, vocals, bass, keyboard) who also performs as a solo artist, and flautist Kathryn Thomas who is also a member of the Galliard Ensemble, a classical musician ( recording for Deux-Elles Classical Recordings) and a soloist. Both Malcolm and Kathryn have independently been broadcast on BBC Radio 3, and Hats Off Gentlemen It’s Adequate have been broadcast in the UK and USA.

Malcolm and Kathryn, and assembled guest musicians, can perform original material and covers, and Kathryn's flute lines often take the role usually associated with lead guitar parts. Recent gigs have included performances at festivals, street parties, art galleries, and at rock venues including the Fiddler’s Elbow, The Bowery, Kiss The Sky, The Comedy, Water Rats and Camden Rock. Their influences include Pink Floyd, Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, Marillion, Bob Dylan and Steve Reich.

All sounds very interesting to me, so watch this space for details of shows and music releases.
