A ROCK-TIL-YOU-DROP-WELCOME to Los Angeles California based indie band, The Cherry Bluestorms.

The band is led by its founders ex-Dickies (Cool! - Ed) guitarist Glen Laughlin and A&M singer-songwriter Deborah Gee. Strongly influenced by late 60s British guitar-based pop, they released their self-produced debut album Transit of Venus, in 2007 to rave reviews, and the band is about to release their second album, Bad Penny Opera in time to play a series of gigs in Liverpool and London later this spring (check the RTYD Gig Calendar for details).

You can listen to three tracks from the Transit of Venus album on the band's RTYD music player, here.

Welcome to new ROCK-TIL-YOU-DROP member Thomas Ferranti of Los Angeles California originals band, Those Beasleys.
